Now that I have taken you through the trends and perfect basic steps to fit right in with the influencers of Paris and London, let's complete the look with a twist in the fashion evolving city of Copenhagen, the capitol of Denmark! Copenhagen has always been a very gorgeous city to visit on a European vacation, which is of course always complimented by the eclectic yet luxurious outfits. Celebrating Danish designs and offering a new touch to the fashion industry, Copenhagen Fashion Week first debuted in the year 2006, and has been one of the most fun and innovative weeks of the fashion month. As Copenhagen's fashions grow and become more and more popular among influencers and the overall fashion industry, you need to learn how to tie your European look together to effortlessly fit right in. It is so much on the rise, that Vogue Scandinavia has even reported and named the Copenhagen aesthetic stating, "It is a look that prioritizes practicality and revels in neutral tones. It is luxurious, yes, but never flashy. It is a look that did not have a name, so we gave it one: Copencore." One of my personal favorite textiles is leather, as it looks chic and classy, but can also be worn with quite literally anything. Additionally, the wear and tear is amazing, building personality over time. Accessories such as a leather handbag or boots make the biggest statement, which is especially noticeable and appreciated in Copenhagen.

To start, an immediate must-have accessory to fit in when you are in Copenhagen is a staple handbag. Of course, the term 'perfect' is very distinct to what you value in your personal style and appreciate for your own self expression. Copencore really pushes the idea of class and design, so a more timeless handbag is a must. This not only can be paired with quite literally any outfit, but also elevates to a level of chicness very effortlessly. But by no means does your handbag need to be from a luxury fashion house, as long as it plays with shape, textile, and is a unique piece that can be worn always, you're sure to fit in. Some of my favorite handbags that are timeless, versatile, but speak volumes especially in Europe, include the Bottega Veneta Jodie, or any slouchy leather bag adjacent, as well as a baguette style like the iconic Fendi design. Be patient, but also make the investment! A handbag speaks volume for an outfit's accessory game!
To pair with your handbag, a pair of timeless classic boots are a no brainer when capping off an outfit. Especially right now, in Copenhagen we can see our favorite influencers sporting a pointed toe boot with pants for a chic and classy look, but also with summer basics as the weather warms up! A perfect boot can never go out of style, especially a solid leather pair. These are durable, look exceptional every time you wear them, and are comfortable to walk in fashionably. On the rise, Copenhagen seems to be rocking the trendy harness boots style, which plays hand in hand with the trending y2k trend of motorcycle core. I love the thought of pairing a tailored trouser and long wool coat with harness boots for a flare and touch of spice. This transforms the look completely and I am here for it! Take your time in searching for the perfect pair, as boots or any leather shoe are definitely worth the investment for your Copencore inspired look!
